A 13-year veteran police officer in the Akron suburb of Cuyahoga Falls has been fired for behavior that included exhibiting pornographic material.
Sergeant Thomas Coffman was terminated for eleven conduct violations, including breaking the city's sexual harassment policy.
Captain John Conley says Coffman used profane and vulgar language, used the city's computer to access inappropriate Web sites and showed pornographic images to people on his shift.
Coffman could not be reached for comment. He has the right to an appeal under the police union's collective bargaining agreement.
