The Anaheim Mighty Ducks have lost several games down the stretch this season. For a change, they stole one back.
Steve Rucchin and Jason Krog scored in the final two minutes as the Anaheim Mighty Ducks beat the Columbus Blue Jackets 3-2.
Columbus led 2-1 on a goal by Tyler Wright with 8:46 remaining and appeared to be on its way to a victory.
But with 1:48 to go, Krog scored on a rebound after Blue Jackets goaltender Marc Denis had deflected Matt Cullen's backhander off the far post. Krog was waiting there for his first goal of the season.
Rucchin then added his fifth with 31.1 seconds left.
Paul Kariya scored the other goal for Anaheim.
Geoff Sanderson tied a Columbus franchise record with a goal in his fifth consecutive game and Andrew Cassels also tied a team record by earning an assist for the seventh straight game.
