No injuries have been reported from a Friday morning fire at a suburban Cleveland truck repair shop.
The Maple Heights Fire Department was the first unit on scene at Bencin Trucking in Walton Hills. Because of several magnesium explosions, several nearby businesses have been evacuated.
Maple Heights Fire Department tells ONN the five-alarm fire started at 8:45 Friday morning.
The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency says the fire started at the Ohio Briquetting Company, which processes scrap waste metals. Spokeswoman Kara Allison says her agency is primarily concerned about pollution from the smoke, but will also be dealing with contaminated water runoff.
Bencin Trucking is located on Northfield Road, west of Interstate 271.
