Republicans Re-Elect Ohio House Leadership
November 20, 2002

Republicans in the Ohio House are standing by their leadership team.

The majority party will keep Larry Householder of Glenford as speaker for the session that begins in January.

Other Republicans re-elected Wednesday include Householder's closest aide, Representative Gary Cates of West Chester, Patty Clancy of Cincinnati, Steve Buehrer of Delta, Jim Trakas of Independence and Jon Peterson of Delaware.

Democrats have yet to replace Minority Leader Dean DePeiro of Parma, who is running for mayor of that city next year, or other members of their leadership team.
